Tears bleed out of my heart is a painting expressing a specific type of sadness that is felt deeply in the heart. It is the sadness of feeling unlovable, unworthy of love.

One of the biggest needs as a being is knowing people love you. But what if that emotional need is not always met? When life shows over and over again that you are not good enough, not worthy enough, not lovable, just likeable and fun for a little while? There grows a sadness. Therefore my heart is crying, aching and bleeding tears.

Questioning; Am I allowed to be loved too?
